Gnaweeda Gold Project – Overview
The Gnaweeda Gold Project is located approximately 15km from the Andy Well processing facility. Turnberry is the most advanced prospect at Gnaweeda and has a current resource of 5.5Mt @ 1.8g/t for 322,000 oz (Indicated and Inferred). If converted into the mine plan as a satellite open pit operation, it has the potential to add significant value to the Andy Well mining operations. Development and evaluation work at Turnberry is continuing.
With three high grade zones identified to date at Turnberry, the next Gnaweeda target is St Annes, which is ready for RC drilling and has demonstrated similar geology and signature to Turnberry. Aircore anomalism has been identified over 6 – 7km of strike and is yet to be RC drill tested outside of Turnberry. Current work has highlighted the controls on mineralisation and is opening up the potential of the Project.
