The Nuckulla Hill gold project (Doray 100%) is located within the Yarlbrinda Shear Zone, immediately south of the Tunkillia Au-Ag deposit. The project was discovered in 1995, but has seen no systematic gold exploration since 1997, despite the presence of several significant drill intersections and its proximity to the Tunkillia Deposit.
Prospects identified by previous explorers through calcrete geochemical sampling and subsequent shallow regolith drilling have in most cases not been followed up with deeper drilling, with the exception of Myall, Bimba and Sheoak which contain significant gold mineralisation open at depth and along strike to the north and south. Doray recently completed a detailed 100m-spaced aeromagnetic survey, which has identified several structural targets not tested either by surface geochemistry or drilling.
